Maggiolini exhibition at 'Fuorisalone 2015'
More than 3.000 visitors, 5 opening days, 10 guided tours per day, 60 press and web publications.
Here are some figures of the event “Maggiolini al Fuorisalone 2015”, held from 14th to 19th April at San Fedele Gallery in Milan.
The exhibition, organised by Di Mano in Mano cooperative and held by Mr Giuseppe Beretti, has been dedicated to the master Giuseppe Maggiolini, the carver and cabinet maker who created the first brand of design furniture (the “Maggiolini cabinet”) in Milan in the late eighteenth – early nineteenth century.
Set inside the ‘Fuorisalone 2015’, the exhibition has gained unique success and unanimous appreciation by all the visitors thanks to the high cultural profile and the care with which it was organised.
The event has paid tribute to Italian art and ancient handicraft trades and has given a great contribution to the future of the furniture by reproducing the path of Maggiolini’s production through the exposition of his works and the gathering of extraordinary graphic materials.
The high quality furniture has been further enhanced by an elegant and distinguished setting, enriched by the location in San Fedele, so that the exhibited items have been made true works of art.
Throughout the duration of the event, guided tours have been organised and the catalogue, published by Inlimine Editions and still on sale, has been presented. .
